Support and security

Contact

For help with Blagger or to report a security concern, contact:

blagger.support@gmail.com

Blagger is currently a private beta operated by Samantha Kerr. Support is provided personally rather than through a staffed help desk, so an immediate response cannot be guaranteed.

Getting help

You can contact support if you:

  • cannot sign in;
  • have difficulty accepting an invitation;
  • believe information is missing or incorrect;
  • encounter an error or unexpected behaviour;
  • need help using a feature;
  • want to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information;
  • have an accessibility or privacy concern.

When reporting a problem, please include where practical:

  • what you were trying to do;
  • what happened;
  • what you expected to happen;
  • the approximate date and time;
  • the page or feature involved;
  • your browser and device;
  • the wording of any error message.

A screenshot may be helpful, but check that it does not reveal private activity information you would prefer not to share.

Never send your password, authentication cookie or session token.

Reporting a security concern

Please report suspected security problems privately to:

blagger.support@gmail.com

Examples include:

  • access to another user's information;
  • unexpected access to your account;
  • an invitation link being used by the wrong person;
  • a way to bypass authentication or account permissions;
  • disclosure of passwords, session tokens or private activity information;
  • behaviour that could damage or disrupt the service.

Please provide enough detail to reproduce and investigate the problem, but do not access, change or retain another person's information unnecessarily.

Security reports will be reviewed and appropriate steps taken to protect users and the service.

If you believe your account has been compromised

If you believe somebody else has accessed your account:

  1. Sign out of Blagger if you can.
  2. Contact blagger.support@gmail.com promptly.
  3. Explain what you observed and approximately when it happened.
  4. Do not send your password or session token.
