About Blagger
Blagger is a personal activity and time-tracking application operated by Samantha Kerr.
This notice explains what personal information Blagger collects, why it is collected, how it is protected and the choices available to you.

Information Blagger stores
Account information
Blagger stores:
- your username;
- a secure hash of your password, not the password itself;
- information needed to manage invitations and sign-in sessions;
- account creation and modification information where applicable.
Activities and periods
Blagger stores the information you enter while using it, including:
- activity names and their hierarchy;
- activity notes;
- period start and stop times;
- period notes;
- creation and modification times.
Activity and period content may contain personal or sensitive information if you choose to enter it. Do not enter information about another person unless you have an appropriate reason and permission to do so.
Technical and operational information
Blagger records limited technical information needed to operate, diagnose and protect the service. This may include:
- your IP address;
- the request method and requested URL;
- URL query parameters, including search text;
- the response status;
- request processing time;
- application and server errors;
- WebSocket connection and disconnection events.
Blagger does not use this information for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Cookies
Blagger uses essential session and security cookies. These are described in the cookie statement.
Why the information is used
Your information is used to:
- create and manage your account;
- authenticate you and keep your session secure;
- provide activity and time-tracking features;
- display, search and calculate information you have recorded;
- maintain, diagnose and improve the reliability of the service;
- detect and investigate faults, misuse and security incidents;
- respond to support, privacy and security requests.
Blagger does not use your information for advertising, marketing or profiling.
Lawful basis
The lawful basis for processing account and application information is the legitimate interest in providing, maintaining and securing the private-beta Blagger service for invited users.
Where information must be retained or disclosed to comply with the law, the lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
You control the activity and period information you choose to enter. Blagger does not require you to record special-category personal information.
Storage and security
Blagger and its database are hosted on a privately administered server in the United Kingdom.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the service, including:
- encrypted HTTPS connections;
- hashed passwords;
- hashed session tokens;
- separation of each user’s application data;
- restricted administrative access;
- operational backups.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please report suspected security problems using the contact details above.
Sharing
Blagger does not sell your information and does not share it for advertising or marketing.
Information may be disclosed:
- when necessary to operate or protect the service;
- to technical service providers involved in carrying network traffic or supporting the service;
- where required by law;
- when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Retention
Account, activity and period information is normally retained while your account remains active.
If your account is deleted, its associated Blagger data will be deleted from the live database. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until those backups expire or are replaced.
Operational logs are rotated and retained only for a limited period needed for diagnosis and security.
Before publication, confirm and document the applicable backup and operational-log retention periods.
Access, correction, export and deletion
You can view and edit most activity and period information directly within Blagger.
You may also ask to:
- receive a copy of the personal information held about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- export information you have provided;
- restrict or object to particular processing;
- delete your account and associated information.
These rights are not absolute and may depend on the circumstances and lawful basis involved. Requests should be sent using the contact details above.

Automated decisions
Blagger does not make automated decisions about you and does not profile you.
